Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: October 12, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by McDaniel Exterior Services (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to customers (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By scheduling or accepting services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Services Provided
McDaniel Exterior Services provides services that may include:
- Trash bin cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing
- Residential pressure washing
- Soft washing and exterior surface cleaning
- Other exterior cleaning services agreed upon in writing
The specific services, scope of work, and pricing will be provided in a quote, invoice, service agreement, or other written confirmation.
2. Pricing and Payment
- Prices will be communicated before work begins.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are agreed upon in writing.
- Invoices must be paid according to the payment terms stated on the invoice.
- Additional work requested outside the original scope may result in additional charges, which will be communicated before proceeding.
- Any applicable taxes or additional fees will be disclosed where required.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
- Appointments are scheduled based on availability and service-area routes.
- Customers should provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
- Repeated missed appointments, inaccessible properties, or last-minute cancellations may result in a reasonable disclosed trip or cancellation fee.
- The Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather, equipment issues, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate service addresses and contact information.
- Ensure reasonable access to the property and areas scheduled for cleaning.
- Secure pets and move personal belongings, vehicles, and other items that could interfere with the service.
- Identify delicate surfaces, known damage, loose materials, water intrusion concerns, or other conditions that may affect cleaning.
- Provide access to an appropriate water source when required and agreed upon in advance.
The Company is not responsible for delays or incomplete work caused by inaccessible areas or conditions outside its reasonable control.
5. Trash Bin Cleaning Terms
For trash bin cleaning services:
- Bins should be accessible and reasonably emptied of loose trash before the scheduled cleaning.
- Bins containing hazardous materials, chemicals, medical waste, sharps, excessive liquids, or other unsafe contents may be refused until the hazard is safely addressed.
- Cleaning results may vary depending on the bin’s condition, age, material, and level of contamination.
- Cleaning and deodorizing reduce dirt and odors but cannot guarantee complete removal of all stains, odors, bacteria, or other contaminants.
- Customers should allow bins to dry as appropriate before placing them back into regular use.
6. Pressure Washing and Soft Washing
- The Company will use cleaning methods appropriate to the agreed service and reasonably suitable for the surface.
- Certain surfaces may be unsuitable for high-pressure cleaning and may require a lower-pressure or alternative method.
- Some stains, oxidation, rust, oil, mildew discoloration, and other conditions may not be completely removable.
- The Customer acknowledges that cleaning may reveal pre-existing damage, deterioration, loose paint, failed coatings, or other defects that were not readily visible beforehand.
- The Company will not intentionally use a cleaning method known to be unsuitable for the agreed surface.
Customers should disclose known leaks, fragile materials, damaged seals, electrical hazards, and other relevant conditions before work begins.
7. Property Access and Water
The Customer authorizes the Company to access the agreed service areas for the scheduled work. Water or other utilities will be used only as reasonably necessary for the service and as agreed upon.
The Customer must disclose known water-sensitive areas and conditions that could be affected by cleaning. The Company may postpone or decline work when access, utilities, or site conditions present an unreasonable safety risk.
8. Property Damage and Liability
The Company will exercise reasonable care while performing its services.
The Customer should document and report any suspected service-related damage promptly so that it can be investigated. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions eliminates rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and deterioration, latent defects, or conditions unrelated to its work. Any limitation of liability will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Weather and Unforeseen Conditions
Exterior cleaning may be affected by rain, freezing temperatures, wind, storms, extreme heat, water restrictions, or other unsafe conditions. The Company may postpone or modify service when necessary for safety or quality.
When a service is rescheduled for these reasons, the Company will make reasonable efforts to notify the Customer and arrange another appointment.
10. Recurring Services
Customers enrolled in recurring cleaning services agree to the service frequency and pricing confirmed at signup.
- Recurring appointments may be adjusted due to weather, holidays, access issues, or route changes.
- Customers may request cancellation or changes to a recurring service by contacting the Company before the next scheduled service.
- Any prepaid services, completed work, or cancellation charges will be handled according to the written agreement and applicable law.
- Price changes will be communicated before they take effect.
11. Satisfaction and Service Concerns
If you have a concern about completed work, please contact the Company within 48 hours of service when reasonably possible. Provide a description of the issue and photographs if available.
The Company will review the concern and, where appropriate, determine a reasonable solution, which may include a return visit or another remedy. This request period does not waive any rights available under applicable law.
12. Refusal or Termination of Service
The Company may refuse, suspend, or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe, payment obligations remain unresolved, access is unavailable, the Customer requests work outside the agreed scope, or continuing the service would violate applicable law.
Any amounts owed for services already performed remain subject to the agreed payment terms and applicable law.
13. Privacy and Customer Communications
Customer contact information may be used to schedule services, send invoices, provide service updates, and communicate about the Customer’s account. Information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Customers may contact the Company to request changes to their communication preferences.
14. Changes to These Terms
The Company may update these Terms & Conditions as its services and business practices change. Updated terms will apply to future services after they are made available to customers, subject to applicable law and any existing written agreement.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without overriding any applicable federal law or mandatory legal protections.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
